Clare Thomson

Trained with Philippe Gaulier. Workshops with Monika Pagneux, John Wright, Linda Kerr Scott, Mick Barnfather. In 2003, Clare created and adapted a clown show about the live organ trade with Darren Tunstall and Bouillabaisse. Before that she appeared as Dot in 7 Blowjobs (Mac Wellman, The Pleasance London), Columbina in the The Liar (Goldoni, Wales), Ana in The FireRaisers (Max Frisch, Milan) and Carol in HelloYou (FecundFilms). She appeared in Cal's panto Jack & The Beanstalk for the Newbury Corn Exchange and more recently in Chris Green's 'Curtain Raisers' (in conjunction with the Degas, Sickert & Toulouse Lautrec exhibition at the Tate Britain). Clare can be seen on TV this spring in the new series of Hyperdrive on BBC2 and in various roles for Omid Djalili's new TV series.
